What is your ministry?
Currently, I lead a small group for youth aimed at deepening relationships with the young people that come to our church plant. We talk about life to help each other grow and come nearer to Christ. When young people see us being honest and vulnerable, they like to spend more time with us because we become friends. They start to understand better why we believe in Jesus and begin to have more questions and think about their own beliefs, which is precisely what I love at this service – that people choose the ways of God because they want it, not because someone tells them to do it.
When did you trust Christ?
After ending a romantic relationship, I thought about my life's purpose, looking for answers by studying different world religions, including Christianity. But, in the end, Jesus Christ, with His great offering, was the ultimate Way which I wanted to follow, for no other God would have died for his people as He did.
What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?
Most of the moments which defined my faith were situations in which I was afraid, lonely, or confused. My friends and I experienced some evil spiritual powers that forced us to depend entirely on prayer and God's interference. Prayer was also a critical point in other situations when we prayed for something improbable to happen, but it happened anyway; this was confirmation of God's love and that he hears our prayers.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
I hope to find new ways to lead young people to Christ and have conversations that would benefit my spiritual growth. I want to grow in my prayer life and quiet time.
What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?
As a young believer, I joined a church plant group in my hometown. From the beginning, I was eager to organise events that would lead to making relationships with new people in our surroundings. After some time, my friend and I led various girls' groups and organized summer and winter camps and spiritual activities.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
I have been serving in a church planting team in the small town of Revuca for the last three years. God has given me an excellent opportunity to spend a lot of time with unbelievers. As a result, my circle of influence has grown, and I see it as an opportunity from God. However, I would like to be more equipped in this work to be a better instrument for the people God has entrusted to me.
