David de Lago
I am the new Director of a ministry focused on planting churches in unchurched villages in Spain, the expansion of the Gospel in the world, and the discipleship of generations of evangelists.
I accepted Christ as my Savior when I was 14 years old. I was in church one Sunday when my pastor shared the Gospel and gave an altar call. I didn’t respond at that moment, but I understood that Jesus paid for every single sin in my life. That night when I was alone in my bed I prayed to God and accepted Jesus Christ’s payment for my sins.
When I finished Bible College in Spain, I decided to move to Dallas to get an MA in Missiology and Church Planting. I saw God providing for my family the whole time. My faith at that time grew with tremendous power. It was a hard time, but I would do it again if God called me to take such a big step.
The European Leadership Forum will help me obtain new ideas and connect with brothers and sisters in Christian leadership in other countries. In addition, it is an excellent opportunity to grow as a leader and network with other international ministries. Last year was my first in-person ELF, and I want to continue to grow and learn from different ministries and great speakers.
I was a church youth and worship leader for over five years.
Every year we reach more than 1,000 people with the Gospel in Spain and around the globe. We saw over 100 people come to Christ this year in Spain. We are young men and women with a passion to share the Good News with our generation.
