Cezary Komisarz

I am the president of the Evangelical Free Church denomination in Poland, which consists of more than 40 churches in Poland. I am the CEO of a national board that counsels 46 pastors and Christian workers. I also direct the Christian Help Center, a charity organization in Nowogard that helps needy people. I am the CEO of Polish Tent. I am a board member of the Polish Evangelical Alliance and a board member of Voice of Gospel-Radio.
I became a Christian in 1988 during a youth camp in the city of Ocwieka. I prayed with an evangelist from Voice of the Gospel. That day I repented and made my decision to follow Christ.
Three specific people have impacted my walk with Christ. One was a friend who, in my early youth, took me to various places as a part of his music ministry. Second, a pastor helped me during my studies at the Bible seminary in Warsaw and afterward mentored me as I started ministry. Third, another pastor supported me in my church planting program in the city of Nowogard.
Being at the Forum is so helpful because I have the ability to be more effective in my work. The Forum has given me direction for my work with the board of the Evangelical Free Church and I have learned from other pastors. The Forum has given me the opportunity to develop my skills and to exchange best practices with other Christian workers. I am blessed not only from lectures, but by the practical workshops and sessions. All of this gives me new insight and hands-on tools that I can use in ministry for preaching and leading the denomination.
From 1995-2002, I was an evangelist, church planter, and preacher in Nowogard. From 2002-2016, I was the pastor of a church in Nowogard. From 2004-2007 and 2011-2016, I was a member of the national board of the Evangelical Free Church of Poland.
I am working on investing in the younger generation and want to learn more about revitalising the church.
