What is your ministry?
I serve as a pastoral counsellor. I am leading the counselling department of our church and I also coordinate one of our church sites as an elder. I am currently leading a building construction for our church (fundraising attributions and critical decisions).
When did you trust Christ?
I gave my life to Jesus in 2002. As a member of a Christian family, I decided to follow not my family or my church's savior but my own. Music and the Word were the main tools that He used to draw me near to Him.
What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?
The decision process for my career and future was a profound experience. Through that process, I met the God who leads His children through guidance, other people, and answered prayer. In addition, during that period, I had two people I called mentors who inspired me to seek the best for God's purposes in my life.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
During ELF 2023, I applied what I learned from Gregory Long in the Fundraising Network and I started a Fundraising Campaign for our facility building that is currently successful. I knew nothing about these things before and I am so thankful now. My thinking is much more structured and inspired. I find myself following principles and methods learned at the Forum. Often in my teachings for church and counselees, I use content from the Forum presentations. I have encouraged several people from my church to apply to the Forum in order for them to grow as ministers. I pray that God will shape and equip me more for his ministry and purposes. I need to get inspired and to get connected with people of God from all over Europe.
What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?
Previously, I was a worship leader, youth camps organizer, and foster home manager, supervising ten children and three other employees in the house.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
There is a great need to strengthen leaders and ministries from Eastern and post-Communist countries like Romania. Everyone with whom I come in contact will benefit from the Forum. Also, I helped one of the network leaders of the Romanian version of ELF – the Romanian Leadership Forum. Now I'm preparing to develop a new network there, which will be the Pastoral Counselling Network.
