What is your ministry?

The main focus of my ministry is organizing and leading worship in my church and a discipleship movement initialized by members of my church. I also mentor worship leaders and worshipers. This includes practical (musical)training and also spiritual mentoring. In addition, I lead a Christian music band. I also teach regularly at my church; I'm studying to be a pastor.

When did you trust Christ?

I began following Jesus in 2011 when I was 14 years old. I made this decision while attending the youth group in a nearby Baptist church. Although I grew up in a church, the love and collective passion for Jesus that I experienced in that youth group were different. After a weekend together, I heard Jesus saying: "You belong where I am," and I gave my life to Him.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

I grew a lot in my faith and identity as a Christian because of my mentors. They were solid Christians who encouraged me, prayed with me, and helped me find God's truth in many areas of my life. I also benefited from being a leader of my youth group in Romania. I started this ministry at 15 and learned to love the church and trust God. Another crucial period was when I came to Budapest for college. It was a time when God started to reveal character flaws in me that He wanted to get rid of for His glory and my relationship with Him.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

The first time, I attended online, and through that, God strengthened my calling for musical evangelism. Hearing the many stories of how God is using people of my generation to create art that saves souls was inspiring. I didn't give up on making music because God spoke to me through ELF's teaching. Doors opened, and everything has grown since then. Last year, God softened my heart during one of the plenary teachings. I had bitterness in my heart and was close to burnout, but God used pastor Conrad Mbewe to remind me that He has not forsaken me; he's just refining me by fire.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

I was a youth group leader in the Hungarian Baptist Church of Baia Mare in Romania for three years. I was co-leading the spiritual life of this group and organizing camps and conferences. At that time, I also took part in musical worship. I also led traditional congregational singing in my village's small church. After coming to Budapest, I began to lead worship at weekly organized youth gatherings for Baptist college students in addition to the ministry at my church.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

I know that God called me to fulfill a substantial part of my calling (being a shepherd, a fisher of man) through music. I would love to hear how others handle this area and get inspired by them. I'm sure my story can also inspire others.
