I lead collaboration movement among evangelical Christians in Poland called Evangelical Poland. We have staff of 8 and hundreds of volunteers that I lead.
I made the decision to follow Christ in 1998 while I was in Boston, Massachusetts. I was there on a work and travel program and met a pastor while playing basketball. He invited me to some Bible studies and it took around 10 meetings for me to understand that I needed to completely give my life to Christ.
One of the most defining influences in my Christian walk is the pastor and friend from Boston who led me to Christ. Later, when I joined a Baptist church in Poznan, Poland, I started to grow and understand more about Christ’s word and love. Additionally, a few years ago we started a Bible group as follow up after our outreach activities. This has been defining as God has provided great leaders for us through this ministry and we all have grown tremendously in the last several years.
First of all, there are no leadership conferences for Christian organizations in Poland. I have been asking questions about ministry for many years: how should I run the ministry, what should I do, who should I talk to, how should I talk to people who work and are paid by the ministry but are not believers? The Forum is an incredibly valuable opportunity for me to learn the answers to these questions and to be better equipped as a Christian leader.
Poland is a 90% Catholic country. Evangelicals are 0.2% of the population. God has given our ministry an unbelievable tool for the Gospel. There are very few other evangelical ministries in our country that reach so many people! Poland needs Christ and, by investing in our ministry, you are investing in the mission of bringing Christ to the lives of the people of Poland.
