Detailed information about 2020 Forum Mentoring is not yet available but will be posted in the future. Please review the information from the 2019 Forum for a look at the types of mentoring that may be available at the 2020 Forum.

Europeans desperately need to hear and understand the life-giving word of truth - the Gospel. How can this message be shared relevantly, biblically, and credibly? Not all Christians are specifically called to be evangelists (Ephesians 4:11), but everyone is called to be involved in the work of evangelism (1 Peter 3:15, 2 Timothy 4:5). Forum Evangelism Mentoring is designed for evangelists, pastors, and lay people who want to be equipped to be more effective in evangelism.

EVANGELISM MENTORS

Daniel Goering came to faith in Christ shortly after studying mathematics at the University of Kansas and has invested his life in planting churches, first across the midwest of the U.S., then across Europe.  He and his family (wife and six children) started in Europe in Dortmund, and then Cologne, Germany, and now live and serve in Berlin.  They have been a part of seeing numerous German churches planted, which are all led by nationals.  He also coaches church-planting efforts in other parts of western Europe in his capacity as a co-director of Great Commission Europe.

Luke Greenwood is British by birth, grew up in Brazil, and now lives in Wroclaw, Poland, with his wife Ania and their two children. He serves as the European Director for Steiger, a mission organisation dedicated to reaching and discipling the Global Youth Culture for Jesus. Luke’s passion is in evangelism and discipleship among the alternative youth scenes, and has a vision to establish dynamic missionary teams to reach the secularised culture of every major European urban centre. In addition to such projects, Luke often speaks, sharing the vision of Steiger in churches and conferences, as well as teaching each year at the Steiger Missions School. Luke studied music therapy in Brazil and missiology at All Nations in the UK.

Stephen McQuoid grew up in Ethiopia where his parents were missionaries. He then lived in Ireland where he qualified as a nurse before going on to study theology, gaining a variety of degrees including an MTh and PhD in theology. He is the author of 16 books on subjects such as discipleship, evangelism, apologetics, and church discipline. Stephen is the general director of Gospel Literature Outreach, a missionary organisation based in Europe. He is married to Debbie, and they along with their three children fellowship at Liberty Community Church in Bellshill, where Stephen is a teaching elder. His interests include motorbikes, football, boxing, MMA, and politics.

Michael Ots is an evangelist and apologist based in Bournemouth, England. He speaks at University mission weeks across Europe as well as training students in evangelism. He is the author of two books, the first of which, What kind of God?, has been translated into Romanian, Korean, Serbian, Spanish, and Russian. He is also actively involved in the evangelistic ministry of his local church.

Malcolm Riley has had the privilege of following Jesus Christ since 1997. After studying for a BA in biology at Nottingham University, he helped run evangelistic holidays for school children. He then joined the staff at a city center church as the student outreach worker for three years and then trained for vocational ministry at Wycliffe Hall. Malcolm and his wife moved to London to plant the Trinity Church Central London in September 2013.

Avi Snyder serves as the European Director of Jews for Jesus, an international mission agency that relentlessly pursues God’s plan for the salvation of the Jewish people.  Avi was raised in a Jewish home in New York and came to a saving faith in Jesus in 1977 with the help of a Jews for Jesus tract and the forthright witness of Christian friends. He graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary, the School of World Mission, with a master’s degree in missiology. Avi has served with Jews for Jesus since 1978 and has provided leadership for the ministry in Los Angeles, New York, and London, as well as establishing the work in the former Soviet Union where he lived for seven years. He and his wife Ruth currently live in Budapest, Hungary.
