VISAS

Since the conference is going to be held in Hungary, most Europeans will not need visas to attend. (We will be investigating which countries Hungary will require visas from, and will work with applicants from these countries in securing visas).

Once arriving in Budapest, you have two options for travel to Eger:

1. If you are arriving on 20 or 21 May, you can take the bus from the Budapest airport that the European Leadership Forum has arranged. We highly recommend this option since it will be much faster and easier.  The cost of the Forum's shuttle is 50 Euros one way.

Particpants of the 2011 European Leadership Forum will be able to sign up for the shuttle in the spring.

2. You can travel independently by bus and train (see instructions below).

Please note that that the conference cost covers your hotel Saturday through Thursday morning. If you choose to arrive the night of 20 May you will need additional hotel accomodations for Friday. We will provide accomodations for Friday, 20 May. The cost will be an additional 60 or 80 Euros, dependent upon whether you request a single or double room. Please let us know as soon as possible so we can reserve you a room the extra night. You will also need to prepay this added cost.
