Who can attend the European Leadership Forum?
The European Leadership Forum is an invitation-only conference. If you have not received an official invitation, you will need to fill out the Application Form located on the navigation bar to the left.
For which Network or Seminar should I sign up?
When applying for a Network or Seminar, please consider your educational and leadership background, as well as your current ministry. The European Leadership Forum is dedicated to training, discussion and relationship building. Each Network and Seminar at the Forum is designed for a specific group of Christian leaders who have specific needs and backgrounds. For example, the European Theologians Network is reserved for professors who teach at seminaries, for those who hold a PhD in theology, or for PhD students. If you do not meet these criteria, you would be unable to attend the European Theologians Network.
I am not from Europe. Is the European Leadership Forum open to me?
The European Leadership Forum is an invitation-only congress seeking to connect Christian leaders with God's global resources. We welcome applications from spiritually mature Evangelical leaders seeking to grow in one of the Network or Seminar areas of specialisation. Though the Forum is primarily intended for Europeans, we occasionally have leaders from other parts of the world who attend. In the past, for example, we have had a few leaders from Asia, Africa, Australia and the United States at the Forum. If you feel you are qualified to attend the Forum, please fill out an Application Form.

I have attended the Forum in the past. Do I still need to fill out an application?
Yes. Invitations are issued to individuals for the Forum each year. If you have attended the Forum in the past, we will still need you to fill out the Short Application Form for prior attendees. This information will be automatically added to our database system to reserve you a spot in Eger and to confirm all your contact details. This application will also allow you to officially apply for a scholarship if you are from Central, Eastern or Southern Europe.
I will be flying to the Forum. Which airport is closest to Eger?
We recommend that you fly into Budapest Ferihegy International Airport in Budapest, Hungary. After arriving in Budapest, the Forum will provide a bus service to Eger for 30 euros. Please see the Travel Arrangements page for more information about travelling to the Forum.
Will I need a visa to travel to Hungary?
For information on who will need visas to travel to Hungary, visit the consular services page on the Republic of Hungary's web site:

I really want to come to the Forum, but I cannot afford the Forum fee. What should I do?
We do have scholarships available for Central, Eastern and Southern Europeans. Funds for these scholarships are limited and we cannot currently guarantee whether you would receive one or not. There is a portion of the Forum Application Form dedicated to scholarships. In order to apply for a scholarship you will need to fill out this portion of the application. Please be advised that each person receiving a scholarship still pays 150 euros towards conference fees, as well as their own travel expenses. Scholarships are limited to those who do not have access to Western funds and resources. Please be advised that those who come from Southern Europe (Portugal, Spain, Italy and Greece) will pay 150 euros towards conference fees, as well as their own travel expenses.

If I receive a scholarship, will I still be responsible for some of my fees at the Forum?
Yes. Those from Central and Eastern Europe who receive scholarships will still need to pay 150 euros towards conference fees, as well as their own travel expenses. Forum participants from Southern Europe (Portugal, Spain, Italy and Greece) will still need to pay 150 euros towards conference fees, as well as their own travel expenses.
When will I find out if I receive a scholarship?
We are currently raising funds towards scholarships. We will contact you by email as soon as we have more information about these funds.
When should I submit my payment for the Forum?
Please do not submit payment to the Forum until after you have filled out the Application Form. You can submit payment after you have filled out the application form and have received email confirmation from us.
I can't get PayPal to work. Can you help me?
First go to our Payment Options page. On this page you will see a button that says "PayPal Payments." This button should be near the bottom of the webpage. Click on that PayPal button. This should take you to our PayPal payment page. At the very top of this page you will see the words "European Leadership Forum."
At this point you will have a choice between two options. If you already have a PayPal account, enter your payment amount in the box. Then enter your email address and PayPal password in the boxes underneath the "PayPal Login" heading. Then click the button that says "Continue." From there follow the prompts that the PayPal website gives you.
If you do not already have a PayPal account, there should be a box in the middle of the page that says "Click Here." It is right next to the words, "If You Do Not Have a PayPal account." On this page you will be able to pay securely using your credit card. You won't need a PayPal account. Simply enter the payment amount in the box at the top of the page and click the "Secure Payment" button underneath the credit card symbols. Then follow the prompts that the PayPal website gives you.
Can I make a cash payment at the Forum to complete my registration?
Prepayment is required for the Forum. We will be making room assignments and meal preparations in Eger based on the incoming funds we receive before the Forum. Because we typically have a few Forum participants who are unable to attend at the last minute, prepayment gives us a better idea of the total number of people who will be attending.
Do you accept credit card payments?
At this time, we only accept credit card payments through PayPal. Please see the Payment Options page for more information.
